Rules and reality
- Duties. — Industrial robots — 0%. Robot vacuums — 25%, but 5% with a Form E certificate of origin from China and 0% from ASEAN countries and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). VAT — 8% until the end of 2026.
- Radio devices. — They follow the list in Circular 29/2025 of the Ministry of Science and Technology: some devices need certification or a declaration, low-power Bluetooth and Zigbee are exempt.
- AI law. — In force since 1 Mar 2026; a risk-based approach, and existing systems have until 1 Mar 2027.
- Trading company. — For a foreign trading company, Decree 342/2026 applies from 18 Oct 2026: investment registration and a trading license.
